A random drabble

Wait, this IS the musings of my mind, isn't it? So I'm gonna post my stuff.

My posts here will probably be mostly English from now on since I'm actually more comfortable with that language...weird, huh?

And surprise, surprise (not really) I'm a fanfiction writer too! I go by StagnantLaziness. ^^

Without further ado... A short drabble! I might continue this,but I'm not sure.

fallcrashburn—her body screams with white hot pain that seems to sear into the retinas of her eyes. Through the blurry haze, her sight goes skyward to the valley of dying stars, as broken as the night sky painted with smoke and the smell of charred skin—and the screams, oh, the screams—imprinted in her mind. The distant memory rings in her daze, exploding into hundreds of thousands of shrapnel embedded in her mind, the echoes coming close, but not quite touching—no, please no, not yet—

No, not yet. She doesn’t want to remember. Not now, not ever.

(But she can’t keep running away forever.)

…

No, she can’t. She knows of her selfishness very well.

But still.

Still.

She can’t help herself.
